I use Permatex white teflon (pipe thread) sealant on all head bolts and sensors that go into water jackets. Works fine for me!

Permatex aircraft type sealant. Non hardening, it thickens a little bit a seals perfect. Not all sealants are sensor safe though. You have to use the right stuff b/c most of the sensors ground themselves to the head and if you use something that will create a barrier between the threads of the sensor and the head it won't ground and you will have problems.

What do you guys suggest for the sensors and vaccum niples in the plenum?

I figure I will use the pip sealant on all the sensors that go into block and heads.

Is that ok?
