is tpi for me?

this summer im going to build a 383 stroker for my 89 rallysport. i got everthing worked out except the induction. i was gonna try and stick with tbi since thats what i got now and it would be an easy swap, wrong. for the horsepower(500 max, prolly 400) i want its not even fathomable unless i dump loads of money into it. so heres the question, will a bone stock tpi setup out of a junkyard car make 400+ ponys, or should i go with a holly stealth ram or mini ram? and if i can find a bone stock setup in the news paper, how much is a reasonable price? and does anyone have a ground up tpi, ecm, sensor setup theyd sell me out of a wrecked car? thx for the input

If you are building a track car based on HP, no. If you are looking for a fun street car with lots of TQ, yes.
