Speed Sensor

I have an 90 formula 350 and i threw a code 24 for the speed sensor. I look around and try to find out where it is and so far I have come across a few place that old posts say it's at...on top on the tranny, on teh side of the tranny and behind the brake booster...Can someone tell me for sure where it is????
thanks

It's on the left side of the tranny towards the back. It is where a speedo cable would usually go. The sensor looks like a silver cylinder maybe an inch in diameter held in with one bolt and it has a two wire connector on it. The wires should run forward along the top of the tranny and join the harness by the other plug on the left side( I think it's a white plug with 3 or 4 wires on it). It should be pretty easy to find since it's the only thing on the back left of the tranny with two wires going to it.
