T.P.I sounds like its sucking air

Under my plenum, the tpi sounds like it sucks air, Is this normal???? I have all new gaskets throughout.

The TPI system is pretty noisy. Especially if your under the hood while your engine is running.

get some carb cleaner or something of that nature and spray it around all the gaskets on your intake, if you hear you engine jump in RPMs then you have an air leak....the leak willl suck in the air and the carb cleaner causing the RPM jump.

That noise is usually just the air rushng through the plenum. Because of its shape and size, it amplifies the noise which then bounces off the intake manifold, further amplifying the noise.

Yeah if your car is strong and it runs good and you have no erratic idling, I would say it's probably just the normal noise they put out.
