I'm guessing around 5700-6000 RPMs but I want to know what others are shifting at.
Also if you have dyno results, what RPM is your HP peak at?

I had my shift light set to 6100 and my rev limiter set to about 6400. Here was the last dyno I had with the SUper Ram.

Ragtop,
Do you think you migh get some better results shifting down a little lower? At say 5500. It looks like your power starts to drop off there. Also, your really super lean through those runs.
Just a thought.

It's hard to tell cuz the lines/numbers are small and close together. It looks like your peak HP comes somewhere between 5000 and 5500 RPMS which would mean you should shift between 5500 and 6050 RPMs.
Does your dyno sheet give you an actual peak RPM for HP?
Is this for a 350?

Well I used to shift it at 5700 but finally got into the 12's by moving the shift up to 6100 and it "felt" like it was still pulling. The HP was pretty flat from 4800 to 5300 and was still over 300 at the wheels at 6100. AFR was in the 13's so I agree it was lean, but thats where it seemed to like it. I had tried fattening it up with no noticiable improvement. THis was on my 379 (destroked 400) with a pretty small cam. I've since swapped in the LT1 intake and even more recently swapped in a much larger hydraulic roller cam so I'm back to square one with tuning as I haven't done really any since the cam swap.

Its a variation of the CC306 cam. 236/242, .555/.576 with 1.6 RR's all on a 114* LSA and the normal Comp Cam built in 4* advance.
6K on tach probably 5800 actual. Hp peaked at 5100rpms and carried flat to 5800 with no drop off. This is the old combo. Working on new setup. Should be finished in just a few weeks. Everything is the same as what's listed on my site except the heads have been worked by GTP which consists of a stage 2 port job, milled for smaller chambers, valve job, etc. 1.7 rockers, 58mm TB, and some porting to the base, runners, and plenum.

When I had a SR, 5800 yeilded the best times. That's with World SR heads, Lunati 218/226, .498/.502 cam, Edelbrock TES. 13.1@102
