Smoke and Smell on TPI

Ok, on startup it blows out a big cloud of smoke. I think it is blueish indicating oil leak. Well when I was driving on the interstate today at about 75-80 mph and let off the gas I could smell something. I thought it was the smell of oil but it could have been coolant. I am not exactly sure. When I let off the gas the oil pressure gauge fluctuates too. Any ideas?

That is what I was afraid of, but it just gives me more of a reason to go with the Vortec stuff.

the vortec stuff will cost you more in the long run, as you will have to get a brand new intake base to fit the bolt pattern. And the 305 vortecs have a bigger combustion chamber you will lose power. Also i heard the vortecs are good, but not that good especaily on a 305. If its a little, it could be your valve seals, but it sounds like you might have some blow by... looks like its time for a 350!! or greater!!!
