What would cause a code 45 while driving on highway. I have never had a problem while driving around town it is only when I am cruising for a while on the highway at or around 2.5K to 3K rpms. I have gone over all of the typical stuff like plugs, wires, cap rotor, filter, O2 sensor. What else should I look at? I am pretty much at a loss. I have some new injectors that I will be putting in sometime soon but until then I would like to get almost everything else ironed out. Could I possibly be having a problem with open loop and closed loop? Might I need a heated O2 sensor? Mine in the car now is not even 1000 miles old so I know that my O2 rich SES is not the O2. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey Chris, it is actually pretty nice here in MN right now. I actually love the cold weather so NC would actually be worse. Now back to the topic at hand. I am sick of getting 15 mpg in the city and 22 at most on the highway. I was getting 30 on the highway and at least 18 in the city. What might cause this? Would a leaky injector cause it to go this bad? When I do get done with the highway my car acts like it is in open loop mode to where the rpms start to hunt and then settle down.
