injectors.....one set bigger?

Transmission: heavily reworked 700r4
injectors.....one set bigger?

can anybody tell me if 1988-L 98 injectors, and 1989 L-98 injectors are the same , the 1989 set are bigger in diameter. i have both sets and im going to use one of the two sets. their going in a 383 stroker motor. are they both 22# pound injectors???

They are suposed to be. Did u chk to see if they are the stock ones u have? I got 24# injectors in my 383 and I am still close too lean.

yes, they are both stock.....do you know if they are 22# pound injectors?...im running ported & polished vortec heads, scoggins dickey vortec alunimum intake, 383 balanced rotating assembly, edelbrock headers with cat back exhaust, 1.5 self aligning crane roller rockers, tpis zz-9 cam, edelbrock hi-flo runners,msd 6a-L,ported plenum,and a custom chip. do you, or does anybody have this simular setup?.....if so what kind of numbers should i expect from this combination?....thanks

im building a wild 383, and after hours and hours and hours and hours of reading i went with SVO 30# injectors. try the search button to see why i chose them if you dont belive me

Yep, they both flow the same. The difference you see is 89's went to a "multec" injector. Supposedly better but I wouldn't bet on it
