On the front by the head
K0489560

I was told it was a 350 but it isnt looking that way, it also has all the smog stuff on it, pump, lines and what not....

You already answered the question as to the size:
5.0 L= 305 c.i.d.
if it was a 350 it would have 5.7 L (liters) on the "bellhousing" ledge.
