Anybody who did the LT1 conversion getting a code 33. Seems to be for me that everyonce in a while I'm getting this code. I know there is a problem with the TB but I can't see this being the problem.Any idea's.

 

Is your TPS set correctly? If the TPS is set incorrectly then it can cause a 33 to show up.

 

Yes the TPS is set correct but then again.The problem that I am having with the TB is the casting that the shaft goes through is worn out a little so I have a little bit of a high idle. I don't know since that is happening w/ the TB if that will throw off the TPS.

 

My understnding is the code 33 being related to the TPS, is to set the TPS voltage higher than spec...i/e .6 or so.

And for some reason I'm thinking this may only apply to SD cars...not really sure....but worth a shot to set it higher an see.
