Previous best was 8.76 at 80.93 mph
New mods are 1" siamesing of the LTR Accel runners at the top where it meets the plenum, and a 160 degree thermostat.
I did not siamese the plenum...just the runners about 1" square.
Here are the runs: Letting the transmission shift on its on. Somewhere around 5000rpm...footbraked to about 1000-1100rpm each time. Goodyear GT+4 tires. Stock onverter
1st was a 10.67 @ 62 mph w/ a 2.45 60'.
I basically just tried a clean off of the tires. Pulled out of the run when shifting into 2nd with tires spinning and going sideways towards the center. Got back into it a little, but had detonation so pulled up again and coasted. Still beat some import next to me...funny.
Run 2: Better burnout temp @ 160-180 (?) ...Had the "rattling" noise all the way down the track. Some spin on take off.

Run 3: 1.5 gallons of 110 octane added. Car real cool... Just to the right of the 100 degree mark. Cutout opened up. Not much spin this time. Problem, though. I do my burnouts with gear in 2nd. Forgot to put it back to "D"...so I went through the traps in 2nd.
Seemed to pull up to about 5400 rpm ok...but went through at about 5600rpm. If the tach is correct. Don't think it will pull anymore past that 5600 rpm mark.

Run 4: Car a little warmer...maybe 150-160. Trans in "D" this time. Some spin at start

Car didn't feel stronger. But I got better times. Maybe midrange is a bit better.
Anyway, next mod will be some stock ported heads w/ 1.6 roller rockers.
