New mods, more trouble

Okay, let me explain my situation here. I had a really mild 383 in my 89 GTA. It ran great and only had about 4,000 miles on the rebuild. I blew the trans and decided to remove the entire engine because I had the parts and I wanted more power. Here are my new mods:
383 c.i.
10 to 1 compression
Sportsman II heads
Crane Powermax Hydraulic Roller Camshaft with 222/230 dur@.050 and .543/.562 lift with 1.6 Crane Gold Roller Rockers
Accel SuperRam Lower intake, penum, and runners
Accel 1000 cfm throttle body
SLP 1 3/4 headers (full emissions)
Wells SU145 MAF
Accel 30 # fuel injectors
Crane AFPR
Custom chip
MSD 8.5 spark plug wires

The trans was just professionally rebuilt and has a 2500 stall. The rear has 3.70 gears

Now, for the problems. The car runs like a 2 cylinder. It has no power whatsoever. The idle is like crap and it dies out every once in a while. I have checked every sensor like 10 times. TPS is set at .54 and its well above 4 at WOT. I Reset the IAC while following Vader's instructions. I checked the fuel pressure at many different psi levels. I tried at 37, 43, 48 ... Car still doesn't run any better. Pulled the new spark plugs many times and they look fine. Spark plug wires are not burned. Timing is set up correctly. All cables are adjusted properly. EGR is functional. Since putting in the Wells maf, the car pulls a code 36. I know the Wells unit does not have a burn off relay, but should I being pulling this code? I put in my old MAF, the code disappears, but the car still runs like crap. I tried my friends ECU, I still had the problem. I swapped in my old Hypertech chip, and the car still ran like crap. When in park, I can rev up the motor pretty good. However, if I try to take it for a ride, I can smash down the gas pedal, and the car will barely move. Could it be the custom chip causing this? I mean the car should still run decently with a custom chip, shouldn't it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Well, not being an expert, here's what I would check next. If it runs good in idle, but not in gear, maybe the VSS is messed up somehow? Since that is on the trans, maybe, huh? Good luck either way.
