dual plane plenum
anyone ever make thier own. carbed cars have dual and single plane intakes. the dual has the seperation in the intake to divide right and left. has anyone ever divided the plenum down the middle with a wall to seperate the sides? if so did you notice a difference.

there is no reason to do that with a MPFI car.
the dual plane design is a compermise because of the carb.
take that out of the picture, and you can make somthing that flows air much more efficently.

it also doesnt need to send a good vac signal to the carb. the manifold only has to feed air to the cyls.
the plenum is like a big "reserve" of air waiting for the engine to take it, and the runners are what take the air from the reserve and feed it to the engine.
