can anyone help me??

i just did a 305 tpi swap into my 79 malibu 350 and itll start cold but it wont start hot ! if i use quick start it starts and keeps running till whenever i shut it off. but it wont start while its hot by itself. i have checked th efuel psi while cranking and its at 40 psi which is good. i have spark which is good. would a slow cranking speed prevent it from kicking over?? would an aftermarket cam make it not start (i dont think so )? its a summit cam. is there a table in gmecmedit that would change the injector p/w while cranking (if anyone thinks that would help)?? can someone please help me?? all info is welcome and extremely appreciated!

If you get 40 psi of fuel pressure and you get good spark during cranking, and it still won't start, something's gotta be wrong there. Does it crank over extra slow when it's hot? Maybe the starter is getting heat soaked. Ever tried holding your foot to the floor while cranking (on the off-chance that it's flooding out)?

hot starting

ive tried that . my starter is from the 79 350 and i thing it might be cranking slow. im about to invest in a mini starter from the newer pickups because theyre smaller and require less voltage to turn over. i checked a plug after cranking a million times and theyre dry. so from that i figured its not flooding. it seems like the injectors arent pulsing when its hot , would that be because the voltage is low from cranking so hard?? do you know if i can change the p/w of the injectors when starting at different temps from gmecmedit?
