Camaro Wont Start, HELP!
hey guys, this is my 1st post on the site. i just bought an 85 z-28 w/ the 305 tpi in it. the thing cranked fine and ran great when i bought it. but the wire that runs to the mass air sensor broke. it could still be connected, but ever since the cars been acting up, and now it wont cranked. motor turns over and everything, just wont idle.
so i figured yall mite know. i hope all it is, is that mass air sensor? let me know what yall think. thanks!

it could be ur MAF, but make sure uve also gotten a tune up done. cap, rotor, plugs, wires, air filter, oil & filter, fuel filter, PCV valve, and check ur TPS as well. just a few things to do that i hope uve already done. also, does the idle flux before it dies or does it just die out of no where with no indication of any problems?

it wont run or idle period. it just turns over and tries to crank, but wont. where are these other sensors located at? cause i guess i should prolly check those. either way though, im still gonna have to buy a mass air flow sensor.... and ive already found out they AINT CHEAP!!

ur TPS is on the throttle body on the passanger side at the top of the throttle body. i doubt thats ur problem tho. i dont know what else to tell u besides timing? do u get a spark?

yeah plugs are getting plenty of fire. but like i said, the car ran great till the mass air flow sensor broke. and that thing measures air and fuel mixture right? so i guess thats my best bet. if you have any more ideas then let me know. ill keep you posed. thanks.
