forged pistons

I know forged pistons sometimes make noise but im wondering if maybe i didnt get beat!Did any TPI engines from the factory have them??If not i got bad noises coming from my engine when cold and when warmed up are gone completely
Any ideas???

standard production small blocks: cast pistons
LT1/LT4/LS series: hypereutectic pistions.

i'm not too sure about your problem though, i don't like trying to guess without actually hearing it. Could be an oiling problem, lessening when the motor is hot and the oil thins out.

as far as I know, the only TPI motors to have forged pistons were the 85 L98s.
