Guys im not posting this to be lazy about research i just know alot of you here have alot of experience and i respect your opinions.
My current combo (being built) is a 383 forged srp flat tops with eagle 6" rods eagle crank afr 195 angle plug heads 74 cc chambers. cam is iskenderian hyd roller 115 lobe center 225in 234exh dur .505 lift in .530 lift on exh at .050 lift using 1.5 rockers on both.
I have pro magnum 1.6 and 1.5 but only 8 of each was using 1.6 on the int and the 1.5 on exh.
engine builder says i should go to 180 cc afr to use on the street my goal is to run mid 12's and be a driver"weekend" . My intake is a miniram and i plan on 24lbh svo inj .
any suggestions on a head and cam combo greatly appreciated thanks!!:hail:

 

It sounds like your engine builder doesn't know you plan to run port injection. With port injection you can go as big as you like on the intake ports and it will work fine on the street. I have a friend running 235cc intake ports on a 5.7 liter engine and it's as tame as a stocker. He must be thinking about carbureted engines.
