injector pulse
If any of you have been following my work I am doing a 350 TPI swap. Ran into a few problems on the way but we are nearing the end. We had to get some fuel injection hose cause my 83 has the lines on the other damn side. We swapped the tanks and have all the wires hooked up. The engine cranks but won't turn over and my uncle says it is the injector pulse. I have the diagrams and they are kind of blurry. The injector wires run black and pink and black and light green. It just won't crank over if anyone knows what wire isn't connected
or can give me some guidance it would be appreciated as always. Fortunatly he decided to put my posi in cause its in the way of the exhaust
(used to have a damn one wheel wonder)

The injector wires go straight to the ECM. You can test them with a test light. You should get power with the key on and pulsing when turning over the engine.
What indication did your uncle get that it was the injectors? Can you hear the fuel pump priming when the ignition is turned on? What pressure do you have in your rails when the system is pressurized?
What about the VATS (vehicle anti-theft system)? Is it disabled? If it is not, the engine will not fire. Painless has a VATS disable module if you need one, or find someone to burn a chip with the VATS turned off.
If not the VATS, what about the ignition? Did you verify 12V to the coil? Also, check to make sure your oil pressure circuit is functioning properly (wires are good and hooked up to the sensor, and that the sensor is actually seeing pressure).
Check all of your fuses. There is a main battery fuse on the ECM as well as four other 10 amp fuses on the two injector circuits, 12V ignition input and one other one I can't recollect off the top of my head.
Fuel injection swaps are fraught with possibilities for no-start conditions. Believe me, I've been there! You'll figure it out though.

If you wanna check the injectors.Get a noid light , cost you like $5 or $6 dollars at the auto zone. That will tell you if you are getting a pulse to the injectors.
