Problems with LT1 Intake Installation

I really didn't know where else to post this. I'm having problems with installation of this LT1 intake from John Millican. The bolt holes on the four corners are drilled incorrectly? or maybe I'm missing something.

This shot shows the dilemma best:

These are ARP standard SBC stainless intake bolts and they are not torqued down to spec in these pics. They are on there pretty snug but as you can see on the 4 corners the bolts appear to have a 1/4" gap on the outer edge which I don't see closing when you torque it down. I'm worried that if we say f*ck it and torque 'em down we'll get a leak.

Do these look like incorrectly/misaligned bolt holes?

You can find the pics here under 89IROC-Z:

I just want to add that it is like that on all 4 corners and all bolts are started well (they're snug) but not torqued down to spec.

Thanks,

Brian P

I belive thats normal on all the Lt1 converted Intakes unless you pocket the intake so they sit flush.

look for pic's posted by wildsides10 or something like that.

Thats normal. Mine are like that, and everything seals just fine.
