LT1 cam in a L98?

Can I put a lt1 cam in my l98? Looking at the lt1 cam that spec's out at .050 210/224 on 112 lc. I know all that need to be done with the lt4 hot cam is to grind off some of the dowel???

Yes it'll fit by grinding off the pin but I don't think those are the specs on an LT1 stock cam. They have almost the same duration as a stock L98 cam.

Well, it's bigger than what I have in currently. I have a zz3 cam that spec's out at .050 206/220 on 112 lc. I think I"m going with a comp cam's 212/218 on 112 lc. That cam will be perfect with my AFR heads and supercharger. I have tons of power as is, however, my current cam is a regrind and I think the grind is off in duration on cylinders 3 and 5....this is a long story. Anyway, going with the comp cam instead of the lt1.

Thanks for the help, greatly appricated!
