just got my road dyno and it asks for some stuff i just don't know the right variables. like the test gear ratio==what the hell is that??

I am not sure what your program is, but being a road performance based dyno, I suspect it wants to know the relation between road mph and engine rpm. If so, it needs to know the overall gear ratio used in the road test. For example, if your rear end ratio is 3.73, and you are in third gear at, say, 1.45, then the test ratio would be 3.73*1.45= 5.41. So, multiply the diff ratio times the trans ratio to get the test ratio.

HEY CHEVRO, I FOUND OUT WHAT IT WAS SO IM JUST SHARING KNOWLEDGE THE TEST GEAR RATIO IS THE GEAR THAT THE TRANNY IS IN SO FIRST GEAR ON A 700R4 IS 3:06 SO THANKS AGAIN FOR TRYING...NOW WE BOTH KNOW...LOL
