what is this sensor/switch?

hey guys... swapping my engine this week, just wondering what this thing is?

The bell shaped one is the oil pressure sensor and the smaller one with the two prongs is the fuel pump oil pressure switch.

thanks,

before i unplugged everything, the fuel pump oil pressure switch was not hooked up, and i don't see anything to hook to it on the harness. Will this effect the way the motor runs?

It is wired in parallel with the fuel pump relay and is the back-up for it in case it fails. There should be a connector hanging somewhere down there near it.
