i just installed a new set of ported 6085 heads with Edelbrock base. man it ran like raped ape, barked 2nd easily and stronger above 3000 rpm. so being greedy and asking for more.. i installed 1.6 comp magnum rockers on my 08-501-8 cam and now when i am in overdrive at about 1800 rpm and i hit an incline and litely throttle it, the engine seems to hesitate abit but if i accelerate a bit quicker through that rpm rage it isnt as bad. so i double check tps, iac, timing set at 8* and it wont cure it. bump up f.pressure from 43 stock to as high as 50psi and no improvement. all new ignition parts and fuel filter and fuel pump. can a engine have to "much" lift i previously has stock stamped rockers on it. my cam specs are in the sig. oh by the way then engine seems to scream louder when i mash it after the 1.6 rockers.
