406 Passed Emissions!
The motor is a 406, 11.0-1 comp., Comp solid roller, Brodix RR200 heads, MiniRam, 58mm TB, 36# inj, Hooker Super Comps and dual 3" catco cats.
Last week I had my emissions tested here in Ohio at the E-Check.
HC - 78.9 vs. limit of 1.44 pass
CO- 1.63 vs. limit of 0.92 Fail
NO - 141.3 vs. limit if 1014.0 pass
A reply by Red Devil in some earlier post about failed emissions helped me out. Basically the motor was running well just on the rich side. I have a DFI so pulling fuel out in the desired rpm was not a problem.
Yesterday I retested.
HC - 1.35.5 vs. limit of 1.44 pass
CO - 0.05 vs. limit of 0.92 pass
NO - 199.5 vs. limit of 1014.0 pass
I believe that the HC went up due to the fact that I pulled too much fuel out and it had a periodic lean miss. The good news is that it passed and I'm clear for the next 2 years.

Let this be a lesson to all that think big cams can't pass emissions. With cats and tuning/tricks it will pass.

Whats sad is my 383 motor passed cleaner then my 99 GP GT. Thanks to 89GTA383 for doing my chip. I'm still working out my Y pipe issues. From then on. I'll be working with the chip. All I had was a cat. I forgot to hook up my EGR and I have no AIR anymore or anything.
