Need advice on heads

Im looking at getting some allumium heads for my 305. I would like to be able to move the heads over to a 350 or 383 later if i deside to do that. Also if someone can recomend a cam for the 305 to go with the new heads that would help too. The car has to be able to pass emmisions.

I have been thinking about vettte heads but not sure if there would be a better option.

What could I get out of a vette head and emmision friendly cam?

Straight bolt on, nope, willing to notch the upper cylinder bore, take your pick. Cams, too many to list.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the "113" castings (Vette L-98 heads) have the external EGR passages. Some modifications would be needed to run the EGR.

As for cams, the LT1 cam is a good cam for cheap for a roller block 305. Make sure it's an F-body LT1 cam and not a baby LT1 like the Caprices and such. Ultimatly, up to you on what you want out of the engine.
