Block ?s

OK i have a 85 camaro Iroc z. It was originally a 305 TPI and when i bought it the guy gave me all the TPI setup stuff. The wireing harness is still in the car and so is the Computer. My question is the block that is in the car is from a 80-85 corvette. Can i convert it back to fuel injection. I dont know if there are any sensors on the block or not. Also im on a budget so what kinda mods would you guys suggest and also what kinda chip for my computer. Mods wise i was thinking headers, 3" duel exhaust dumping out the side, 52 mm TB, Port and Polish intake, runners, plentium, and heads, Mild cam, and some valve train mods.

Thanks
Jeremy

What is the casting number off the block? A block is a block is a block. It is a chunk of cast iron (or aluminum) with some holes punched in it and tunnels winding through it. It has absolutly nothing to do with whether or not it can be EFI or carb. Similarly, a block really has nothing to do with what intake can or cannot bolt up to it. As long as it is a small block chevy (V-8). The heads will determine what can and cannot bolt up intake wise. Only sensor in the block itself, that I'M aware of is the knock sensor (passenger side). For chips. Refrain from buying anything from a parts catalog. The only real way to do it is to burn your own or have someone burn one for you. Parts catalog chips are generic, you will want something custom made to fit your application.

Define "budget" as in place a numerical value to the letters.

And for future reference, it's "plenum", not "plentium."

MY budget would be about $2500 into the motor. I already have a built turbo 350 and a 4th gen posi 3.73 rear end.

Thanks
