Just wanna introduce myself (kinda long, but got pics!)

Hi all, I've been browsing around this forum for over a year now, n' only just now have I discovered how to get rid of that annoying, "you do not have permission to post" thingy. Anyway, I just wanted to share a bit about myself n' my cars as my first thread.
I'm 20 n' have had the joy of owning three third gen camaros over about a two year period. I currently have a 91 RS as my daily driver, n' a 92 Z-28 which will soon replace the RS as my main car once the exhaust is finished being fabbed up, and the Stealth Ram gets it's fuel line routing. Just a couple of months ago, I got into an accident in my first third gen, an 89' IROC-Z.
I was pretty sick about the crash cuz it was totally my fault first of all, and it happened just two days before I planned on taking it to the track after the 383 TPI build up. Luckily, the motor, and beefed 700R4 tranny wasn't damaged, but the back half of the car got toasted n' the 9-bolt rear end picked a fight with a giant rock n' got it's *** kicked. I guess I'll save the details of the crash for another post.
but yeah, all's good as I now have this 92 Z-28 project which is extremely close to completion... like in the next couple days it should be done.
Here's a few specs on the engine/car:
L98 block, bored .030" over
Eagle balanced 383 stroker kit
Clevite 77 bearings throughout
Moroso 7 quart oil pan
Milidon diamond stripper windage tray
SRP high-volume, standard pressure oil pump n' hardened pump shaft
Meziere electric water pump
Trickflow 195cc CNC ported aluminum heads
214/220 dur. @ .050" lift, .452/.465" lift Hydraulic Roller cam on a 110 LSA
Crane Gold Race 1.5 Rollers
Holley Stealth Ram intake manifold/adjustable pressure reg.
BBK 52mm TB
MSD distributor n' 6AL ignition
3-Step module for 6AL, high limit/Burnout/Stage
Venom #30 injectors
ARP throughout
Poly mounts

Trans:
700-R4
5 gear planetary drive set
monster sun gear
Trans-go shift kit
Corvette servo
B&M Megashifter
B&M torque converter lock-up controller
custom 2600 RPM stall converter 10"

Chassis n' suspension:
S&W SFC's
S&W adjustable Torque arm
S&W adjustable panhard
S&S LCA's
Hotchkis springs
KYB AGX struts up front, KONI red adjustables in back
Poly bushings all around, cept for the front control arms (those are such a bitch to put in)
Hurst Roll control tied into 3-Stage Rev-limiter.

Here's sum pics if I can get this to work:

Something I should mention about the pics is that the first picture is when my dad and I first put the 383 together, so the car in the background was my first 89' black IROC... the other two pics are of my current 92 Z. The blue RS in the background of the second pic is the car i'm driving around in now, that'll be sold when the Z-28 is done
If any of ya'll are from hawaii (oahu) I'd love to get together at campbell one night n' have a friendly race in the 1320... i get right lane tho
Oh, n' that's my dad in the one pic, gotta give him a ton of credit. He's taught me pretty much everything I know about cars. He's was a mechanic through highschool n' college n' was a Snap-On tools dealer until retirement, invaluable guy to have around.

Holley Stealth Ram Intake

Is that Holley Stealth Ram intake a direct replacement for TPI, or did you have to make some changes and add-ons? I am thinking about ordering one, that's why I'm curious.

Thanks for the welcome pics should work now...
It's definately not a "bolt-on" TPI replacement. Several fittings and adapters are required. Various straight and 90 degree vacuum fittings, 1/2" to 3/8th" adapters a couple of plugs. We opted to cut the feed and return fuel lines under the car and run #6 AN line along the firewall. The map sensor we mounted onto the plenum itself using a 1/4" stud to keep the vacuum line for it extremely short.

i believe that the standard pressure when measuring flow for fuel injectors is 40 PSI. The reason I say that is if you look at the injector size constant in a 122165 ecu, It asks you to specify the "Single Fire FI size at 40 psig" based on tuner pro.
Oh yeah, and if anyone knows of a place where i can upload my pics other than cardomain... i'd really appreciate it.

I like the way you have your torque are mounted. Is that custom if not whos sells that?

BTW your engine is Awesome. If I had enough $$$$ I would do the same thing, but its gonna be carb for me unless I stubble apon a decent amount of money. LOL

You're going to have a hell of a time tuning that 110LSA cam with FI. 110LSA is suited much more to a carb.

In any case, that motor is going to make some serious power, nice job. And there's a couple guys on here with some really nice cars in Hawaii. I know a few of them are more aimed at drifting and handling, but they have some nice power as well.

Oh yeah, I painted my rear-end black as well. Metallic black

Thnx for the praises guys! That torque arm/SFC crossmember deal is from S&W Racecars, so no it's not custom you could buy it right off the shelf. this sfc setup is the looked to be the best as far as actuall chassis stiffening, and i really like how the torque arm mounted directly to the sfc's instead of the trans. i had also considered the jegs unit that bolted to the floorpan, but i doubt it would be as strudy as mounting it to the sfc's.
As far as tuning for the cam... it was a lot easier than i thought. granted i'm not done with the tuning yet (far from it actually)... but just yesturday we fired up the motor!! I had made minimal changes to the tune before we first started it, but it was enough for it to idle n' rev up ok. gotta pull out some timing on the low side of the table, n' actually take out some fuel in the same area, but it fired right up.
As for the other guys down here.... drifting does seem to be the current craze, but I just can't afford to be abusing the motor n' thrashing around the suspension like that as fun as it may be.

Nice car! Should be a blast to drive.

It should be very easy to tune; that cams tiny especailly for a 383. I wouldn't worry about it at all my old cam was 218/224 on 110 lsa and was much easier to tune then my current 224/230 on 112. The tighter LSA does help make it easier to tune but the main thing to look at is the amount of overlap at .05.
