Anyone check out the Super AFR ZZ motor from Sallee

460 hp and 450ftlbs.Nice. I also heard they will be making a Super AFR 383 motor Expect very close to 500HP. Wonder what it would run with a miniram or HSR on it.

Thats pretty much the combo I want to run. A ZZ4 short block and AFR heads or Trick flow heads. Probly gonna go with Trick flow cuz its cheaper. Superram on top with either LPE 219 or custom comp grind similar to that. One heck of a combo. should be pushing over 400hp.

You should be way over that

Their motor, check it out on their site. It pushes over 460hp. and its a 350.Should be a screamer. and it sells for 5200.Not bad considering if you built it yourself.

I posted a post in TPI awhile back with this combo and no one gave me a horsepower estimate. I assume it is around if not over 400hp cuz some guys running that are low low 12's.

I poseted a pic of it once after I saw it in a GMHP magazine. I was thinking of throwing HSR on it too. my two choices now are LS6 or supper AFR ZZ4 with HSR. The zz4 would be easir but the LS6 is so cool. and you can probably get one for around 5 gs. decisions decisions

Call up Sallee I think they make the 383 AFR package also. I heard it makes 500hp. I am thinking super AFR with either a miniram or HSR. I would think with good gearing and traction. I would niot doubt mid 11s on motor with this super AFR 350. The 383 Im sure would be their also. What an awesome combo for the price. For the record I have been personally told by a few shops you cannot build a better motor at that hp level at that price. You just can't . Well unless you build it your self.
