TBI to TPI swap advice

Hi!
I have finally find a nice 350TPI out of a -89GTA whith low miles on it,and my question is what cam will be best for my new 350.
I have my compcam on the sig or a LT1 cam from a 95 Camaro,I just want it to be alround 300hp,and how much lift can the stock heads on that engine handle?
Thanks.

the comp cam you have listed would work well, as would the stock LT1 cam. these cams would have a pretty smooth idle and lots of off idle torque. but with your 2400 rpm stall converter i think you can run a little more cam. i would look at some cams with around 210-220 degrees intake duration and 220-230 exhaust duration. you dont want a cam with too much duration or overlap becuase it wont work well with the tpi intake. but i would look for a cam that works from idle up to about 5500 rpm. my cam is listed in my sig and i have a 305, it works rather well.

Ok!
Thanks for the replay.
Do you think the zz4 cam will be a nice combo or do I have to to some work to my heads and what about the zz4 hot cam.
I belive that it isnt so big different betwen my cam :comp cam whith 206 intake 212
exhaust and vale lift of 480 in and 488 exhaust and a lobe angle at 112.
and the zz4 0.474"/0.510"
Dur. @ 0.050" (I/E) : 208/221 degrees
But maybee it will make a big difference.
I really like to build this engine right from the beginning.
Thanks again!
