fuel pump question

Want to switch from tpi to carb and swap the motor into my Monte Carlo while I am restoring my GTA. Are their provisions for and what do I need to run a mechanical fuel pump? What else am I looking at replacing for this to work?

Though I'm not sure of any part numbers a 3 port fuel pressure regulator should allow you to use your stock in tank fuel pump. You just need to ensure it's made for a return line and the pressure can be set low enough for a carb.

I want to put the engine in my Monte Carlo, which does not have an in-tank pump. That is why I want to know if I can use a mechanical one.

Your GTA's engine block should have a block off plate where the fuel pump goes, I would imagine that a fuel pump from a carbed
F-body would fit on it.
The other thing is that your engine does not have the eccentric
lobe that would operate the fuel pump shaft. You might wanna to look into that.
