Purchased new intake, have a few questions.
I purchased a TPIS big mouth base and a set of SLP runners.
I looked through the archives and couldnt find detailed ansers.
My questions are..
#1 The big mouth obviously has larger ports than the SLP runners, Is there enough meat on the SLP runners to port match to the base manifold?
#2 The folks at SLP told me NOT to siamiese the plenum. That it would create turbulance and actually decrease Hp/Tq. That sounds like BS to me. I would think it would only increase flow.
I know I should have got the TPIS runners but just couldnt afford them and I had to pull the manifold anyway to change a leaking gasket.
Thanks for the help.

The TPI runners have plenty of meat to match the Big Mouth intake. I siamesed the plenum on mine. I also have the SLP intakes but the early style. One side is fully siamesed from SLP and the other is Siamesed at the top. I also siamesed the bottom. Allen
