egr / accel super ram
Hello all,
I have a '89 bird, 305, with accel super ram. The motor needs to have the egr installed to pass Calif Emissions. My question is, what type of EGR do I buy and where on the intake manifold does it bolt to. The manifold came with the accel super ram kit, and accel says it supports EGR for older motors. The orginal motor was a TBI so I have the old EGR. I am thinking I will need a TPI EGR, but I dont know what year, make and model to buy. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. If you need any information please ask. Thanks in Advance.

You have to take off the plenum to put the egr on. It mounts to the top of the lower intake.
Just order one for an 89 305 TPI car, it will work.

you need a regular tpi egr valve, it bolts right in the middle of the lower intake mainfold. I circled it on my accel manifold, yours is the same
