fuel pump runs after key off

Car: 91 Formula
Engine: 357 TPI
Transmission: WC T5
fuel pump runs after key off
91 Formula, TPI Speed Density, the fuel pump will run for a 15 to 20 seconds after turning the car off. This does not seem like a normal condition. Does anyone have any insight why this would happen? Thanks for any response in advance!

I would get out the DVM and check out the leads off the relay. I would think the relay would be the first suspect here.
