slp 25# injectors

With the slp injectors, do you need to grind down the 4 fuel rail posts for the injectors to seat correctly? Also after that, would you be able to use the clips or not?

I cut the clips in half and used the side with the tab on it. Installed the injectors into the fuel rail and slid the 1/2 clip into the slot. I feel totally secure about the clip holding the injectors in the rails with 43# of fuel pressure.

Then, I ground about 3/16" off the four posts and got the injectors seated thoroughly.

I don't have to wonder if one of them are going to push down causing fuel to spray all over the place and it was very simple to do.

Look at the grooves and the clips and you'll see it's silly not to attach them to the fuel rails.

But, I've ran a Stealth Ram with 30# SVO's for three years without any clips what-so-ever, with no problems, but they couldn't move after they were installed either.
