tpi into an old hotrod?

hey guys. pulled a tpi and all sensors off my 86 iroc and want to put it on a 70 chevelle if possible. Is this possible with the oem harness or do i need to buy aftermarket harness/sensors ect. Any help on what im going to run into doing this would be alot of help. Thanks

As long as you can install an oxygen sensor in the exhaust stream near the engine, you should have no real difficulties.

I've seen one of our member's TPI setup installed in a '57 sedan. The Chevelle should have ample space to mount the ECM so that the harness will reach everything easily. Mounting the MAF could be a bit of a challenge, and the '86 parts may be usefull in putting that together.

The harness is what scares me. I have everythng else planned out pretty good i think but im looking at the oem harness from the 86 iroc and omg... lol its a cluster F#$% to say the least. Think ill go with an aftermarket wiring kit if i can find one resonable.
