SES light

Ok so today I put on some headers that I got used from a friend. They didnt have EGR provsions so we just took it all off, which i had planned on doing later anyway. Driving home I had made it about .2 of a mile and my SES light came on. I know why, now I want to know how to get it to turn off. Anybody know?

Check your codes for one, cause I am thinking you have an oxygen sensor code and not an EGR one... Are these short or long tube headers?? And of course do they have a bung for the O2 sensor???

They are short tube with the O2 bung. Why would it be the oxygen code and not EGR?

The EGR has nothing to do with the headers. Are you talking of the AIR system, tubes hoses etc? Need to pull the diagnostic codes out of the ECM. Search this site for info on how to do this, pretty simple on these cars.
