Coolant fan wiring

Hey guys,

I am trying to finish up my carb. to TPI conversion, and I just installed my Dual Fans and i dont have the wiring that goes from the fan motors to a fan relay or switch (im not really sure). Anyone know where i can get this wiring? Ive checked local Junk yards and they dont have any f-bodies with TPI. Anyone have any part #'s i can go by?

Thanks,

Just go out and by the correct gauge wiring and and run the wires the way the factory diagram says to run them. Do you need to know how?

Well im gonna look it up, but i think its green/white wire is computer ground and then a black wire to the fan relay and also a red wire to the relay both from the fan motors. Im not sure which one is which, but i think its black is ignition hot and the red im not sure. I dont have the wires or the connectors that go to the fan motors, the wires arent a problem, but the connectors are. Thanks for the response.

The primary fan is controlled exclusively by the ECM. The secondary fan can be controlled by the ECM or a separate temperature switch in the RH head. The wire on that separate switch is green/white. Coolant fan power (to the relat) is provided via the fusible link "D" and an orange wire. 12VDC to the relay is provided via a brown wire from the FP/FAN fuse in the IP fuse panel. Power to the fan from the relay is supplied via a black/pink wire.

Thanks for the response vader. I have the painless wiring harness for the swap im doing and the only wire i see at this time is the green and white wire labeled Cooling fans. Im gonna have to get more involved when i have the wiring schematic in front of me.
