high revving trouble

My formula 350 is strange. When I drive around town and everwhere else it feel normel. But when ever I floor it it will surge and choke like it want to die but will go away if i drive it normel after i do that. If i floor it on the highway it will be fine if i am going at highway speed I will not feel it surge and try to die. Thanks

Lacking further description, it sounds as if it might be experiencing a typical lean condition at throttle tip-in. That can be due to low fuel pressure, incorrect TPS setting, incorrect minimum air position setting, low idle RPM, and can be made worse by inadequate spark advance, vacuum leaks, intake tract leaks around the MAF, dirty TB, general state of tune, and probably other things I'm overlooking.
