replaced the stocker with a walbro in prep. for the engine i am building. just wondering what the foam pump condom was for. i didnt put it on the new pump because the directions didnt say anything about it- and it seemed to fit snug on the hanger assembly. just curious what it is/was for.

 

noise. it dampens the vibration from the pump, so you can't hear it as much.

 

and here i thought it was for f.t.d.'s (fuel transmitted diseases)- man i should take my show on the road

 

Yeah. Just make sure you stay within walking distance...
