Rocker arms

Can I use non aligning roller rockers in a L98 350 TPI engine? Or do I have to use them with guideplates?

Non-aligning rockers require guide plates.

Thats not exactly true. Some heads have a narrow pushrod hole (looks like a slot) instead of a large round hole. Those heads dont need guideplates, the hole in the head keeps the pushrod in place. Seems like GM was somewhat random on which engines got what heads, even in later years. Best to take a look at what you've got and go from there.
