questions for new fuel pump
when replacing the fuel pump, should i replace the sending unit with it. and also when im at the gas pump putting gas in, i can only pull the lever half because it wont take all the gas if i pull it all the way. is that normal, or can something be broke?

If u have extremely high miles or sender issues already I would replace it.
If no issues and mileage isnt ludicris, then I would inspect it for wear on the traces that the actual float level rides on and make sure you ahve good continuity there, as well as a changing ohm reading thru the entire arc of movement of the level arm.
Also be sure to check wiring and connection and also the lines on top of the tnak for rust and corrosion. If it all checks ok, I would go ahead and reuse it.
A lot fo times people break them taking them out and/or putting them back in. Just be careful and go slow and you should be fine.
Nother helpful hint yank the shocks and drop the rear down. If u undo the brake line/fuel line clamps on the body in the trans tunnel you can gain more working room for lowering the read end with all brake hardware still attached.
