Making my fuel pressure regulater
I keep hearing about people doing it but i can't find any info on how to do it and how well it works. how do you make the stock fuel pressure regulater adjustable and what do i need to buy???

there are pictures around here.
but, the simple answer is a small nut 6 or 8mm?, small bolt for the nut (1" long?) a thin flat shim alittle smaller and thinner than the electrical box knock outs
take the top off the stock one, dent inside out just a little to make extra room for the shim and a little extra so it looks like it is almost mounded out.
drill a small hole for the bolt in the top, weld the small nut on top of the reg. start the bolt in the top of the reg. make sure it screws in
put that shim ontop of the internal diaphram, reinstall the cover, set psi

MAke sure you have a good safety torque when u do it.
Also Iw ould recommend at least getting a new diaphragm for the regulator, just due to age and condition. No sense in doing it twice, unless u know it has been replaced recently
