Hey guys i have just bought a 92 L98 motor im working on....its basically bare....no wiring or ecm just motor and tpi unit....well the tpi unit did not come with a throttle body....and my tpi unit as already been modified...it has a extrude honed base...slp runners and the front of the plenum has been ported or modified to accept a bigger throttle body....i went ahead and bought a holley 52mm one cuz i got it new for 230...and junkyard wanted 200 for original one........my question is on my new holley it looks like somethin mounts to the bottom of it ...there are bolt holes and little passages ....what mounts there...what am i missing....thx

That is for the IAC housing. I dont know if they are available from GM anymore But you definately need one.

 

thx for the info....i found that our sponser tpi parts...carrys it so im going to get it thru them
