tpi engine harness, what years interchange

I have an 1988 dash wiring in my car and a long long while back had a stupid attack and cut out the TPI to go carb. Well now I want to go back to TPI and want to know what year tpi engine wiring will hook right back up to the fire wall conector besides the 88 harness? Will 85 to 89 swap or is it just 87 to 89?

If it were me I would just get a kit from Painless Performance, less head ache.

Cliff is right. I wouldn't bother with a stock harness unless you just can't afford a Painless harness.

Just remember when u get the painless one you dont have all the connectors for all of the sensors. I think its missing some of the emissions sensor hook ups, not sure but I know it's missing a few of the required ones for a completely stock setup sensor wise.

I believe they do have the the connectors for the rest of the emissions equip. seperately and you have to pay for that additionally.

87-89 will bolt right in...i have an 88 the guy befor me hacked the wiring,i got a 89 harness from e bay works perfect ....but remember 89 does not have a cold start inj,and the oil press switch is different every thing else is the same , also the 87-89 harnesses are one with the rest of the engine compartment harness so the wipers blower motor etc are all included
