What are my fuel injectors? PED 33 & 9031?

As some may know, I have a 350 block with 305 heads and computer. The car is a little rough, particularly at idle, and mounts are in good shape. So I found I have a 305 chip and that could be the cause of the idle quality and lack of 350 performance. Anyway, I need a 350 chip to get the correct tables for a 350 in there, but I need to make sure of the injector size.

So I checked out under the hood and they read PED 33 on top of the injector, the top most part is purple colored. On the next lowest part, 9031 is stamped into it. And towards the base of the injector are white raised letters: 17086543 <----That is the best I read. I am 99.99% sure that is the number, but if any numbers are off it will be the 0 or 8 as that was on the other side of the injector and I couldn't rotate it enough to see the whole number sequence.

However, I have my TPI swappers guide in front of me and it lists all the stock/factory TPI injector manufacturers and part numbers and mine doesn't line up with any of them.

-The first 5 numbers 17086 matches up with an 1987 5.7L injector, but the last 3 numbers 543 don't match to any.

PED stands for Packard Electrical, correct? So does anyone have any ideas or a link that might have more info? I'll continue searching in the meantime.

Previous owner swapped it in. So I've been double checking what, if anything else is 350 compliant. So far it's just the block. I hope he at least put in a 350 Knock sensor. And what sucks is that I have no way to reach the previous owner. I have the number to the guy I bought it from, but he doesn't have the number he bought it from.

Yes, the PED stands for Packard Electrical Division.

ok so how do you know it's a 350 block for sure? did you check the casting numbers? or were you told when you bought it that it had a 350?

638 was on the bottom of the block. 627 is for 305's correct?

Thanks 87zJeff for the link. Now I either have to get 22lb injectors or have a prom chip burnt with 350 values except for with 19lb injectors.

Would 24lbers be ok? Or would that be overkill?

the 24lb would be ok with the burnt chip. i don't think the 19's will supply enough fuel at higher rpm's for the 350. there is another thread on how to use the cast numbers to id the block.

As far as the 22'rs i have ran 19's with a 350 tpi and a DIY chip just fine.....Per Tunerpro. With the same constants and 22's i was running way to rich so i stuck with the 19's for the time being. Everything has changed since then.
