Accel injectors
Are they as good as Bosch?
Accels are about $260.00 for a set (20-24 lb.)
The cheapest Bosch are $55.00 ea.!!!! from TPIS.
I've had extremely good luck with Bosch in my 2 camaros and now I am installing a TPI setup in my 91' Chevy truck, but the injectors I got with the junkyard TPI system are junkers.
I just want to know if they work as well as Bosch and they last as long too.
Thanks,
john

Accel = junk
I have had issues or worked on cars with issues with injectors, caps, rotors, coil and their shorty plugs.
I would invest in a set of Ford MotorSport/SVO injectors.
they are made by Bosch and are generally regarded as the best injector deal out there.
I know u can get them in 19,24,,30,36 and 42# sizes.
I have had personal success with 2 sets of 24# and my set of 30#.
If 305 I would go with the 19#, if I had a 350 I would go with the 24#. U will need to change the Injector Constant if running the 24# on a 350 or 305 however.
Without it your BLM will be forces to 108-112 and the ecm cannot correct for it

Here is a pic of my 67' camaro. I installed the TPI system on it in 2001. Got 75,000 miles on the ZZ4/TPI no problems ever! And great gas mileage.

We've been thru this thing several times. The Accel injectors are notorius for being poor quality, they do not last.
The FMS (formally SVO) injectors are the best quality injectors for the price.
For your 383, the 24#/hr FMS injectors with an AFPR will do the job. The price of the 24s is about $210. I ran the FMS 24s in my highly modded 350 for several years and now I am still using the same 8 injectors in my 395 cu.in. stroker.

ACCEL IS JUNK
i had a defective one right out of the box, and known people who had them go bad within a year,
ford fuel injectors are the only way to go you can run the pink tops 22lb'ers or the 24 svo's with a chip replacement for the injector constant change. they are the most cost effective , efficient, and reliable injectors period ive dealt alot with the injector issue.
