stock or aftermarket fuel pump?

well, looks like i get to change my fuel pump, so what's the recommendation? stay with stock, or go with an aftermarket one? probably gonna be changing the sending unit, too. reason for pump change is because wiring shorted out, most likely in the pigtail outside the tank, so having to drop it... engine is slightly modified, as in worked heads and bigger cam... this would be my '91 5.7L TPI, btw.

Id say go ahead and replace it with an aftermarket one. I got a pump from TRE and it works great.
