making the 58mm new style tb work on lt1 intake
i posted this on the alternative intakes board but that one does not get browsed as much as this one does, but anyway, i bought this 58mm accel/lingenfelter tb for my lt1 intake swap that im doing and it is the 89 and later style. anyway, i have the front nipples on my intake and do not want to move them to the back. So, the new style tb's linkage hits the nipple but if i trim some off the cable guide as indicated by the tape in the picture, it would clear the hose. My question is, do you think this will affect the cable in any way (mess with how smothly it works, chew the cable, ect.), i plan on rounding the cut edge off by using a file. Also, i bought an lt1 camaro throttle cable, but have not had time to test fit to see if the cable is long enough to reach the pedals.
thanks
thanks
