I did a search nothing great poped up. Im doing a 86 305 TPI (60k miles) into a 4/4 87 S-10 with 700R4. Motor will be kept bone stock other then a AFPR is needed, cam and springs if needed. This is a low buck job. So what are my options? I see people recomend the LT1 cam, i like the price should i use 1.5 or 1.6 rockers? Or is the summit cam woth the extra bucks? any better options out there? Also what would be a good stall speed for the recomemded cam, im leaning twards a 2k stall. Im looking for great drivability, Torque and MPG.
Since my motor is a 86 its not roller cam is it? Can you use the LTI roller cam and roller lifters in this block? Im a Ford guy trying to learn about the 305.
