GTA motor in 83 caprice can I use a laptop? With supercharger?
I am currently doing the research and acquiring the parts to put an 89 GTA motor in my 83 Caprice. I have the motor, all accessories, the TPI set up, and was wondering who all used a laptop for engine tuning, and where to get the software and hookups to do so. Once I have this running correctly, I was going to buy a Vortech for an Fbody, and put that on as well.

I like going to moates.net for chip burning stuff. Check the technical articles for the "7749 conversion", that should be exactly what your looking for.
theres a good website called "The 7749 Solution", search for it in google. They tuned a supercharged TPI motor.
